Guess what we did?!?!

Well we did it.

We took the plunge.

We put our chips on the line.

We pulled the plug.

Yep we are officially in the process of building a house!!!

This is what our floorplan looks like basically. We are adding a couple walls to the dining room and making the study a four bedroom. We have visited the deco center which is a story in itself!! So this was the Hubs big b-day present(ha we signed the contract on his 30th bday!)

I promise I have several stories and pictures to share but I am pooped with the new job and all the house stuff!

I promise I am alive! Between the new job and going out of town for Hubs 30th tomorrow I am beat!

Blog Hop Swap

So I have mentioned a few times that I participated in a Easter basket swap Here.

Well my package came in and I was soo excited!! I swapped with Sonya .

She actually "got" her package before me just cause I checked the mail late and our office was closed before I could get my package. Sonya emailed me saying she loved her basket and we thought alot alike.....HMMMMM So what is in my basket?

Well This morning I got it and I was not disappointed! Sonya did SOOOO good!!

This was too funny to me, I told Sonya I HATE peeps! I just don't get them, I will decorate with them but don't eat them! But this lipsmackers is too cute!

My favorite easter candies!! Starburst Jelly Beans and Mini Eggs! Plus I love La Madelaine so how can you go wrong with chocolates from there?!? If you have never tried mini eggs go run to the store now at get a bag!! You will not be disappointed!!

A pretty good haul if I do say so myself! I had so much fun with this and thing I had a perfect partner since we both thought on the same page!!

I'ma bad blogger

Hi friends, Sorry I have been MIA this week. Lots of things going on around here and I have started several post that somehow did not get completed, whoops!

So since we talked we found a house we absolutely love. I mean I have already looked at furniture online for the whole house and have every room decorated! A much better floor plan than the two story house was kinda liked. It is in a neighborhood closer to Hubs work, but it is still all new construction which is good and bad cause the area is growing and they will be out there working for the next several years. At the end of the month we will be putting earnest money down and starting the building process.

We are going on a mini vaca for the Hubs 30th bday in 2 weeks. We are going to go camp for a few days to go fishing and hang out the two of us and then his bro will join us to go offshore fishing in Port A. It will be nice to do something fun and relax for a few days.

Big news is I have been offered and I accepted a new grown up job! I will be working for Wyndham Vacation Resorts as a Marketing Coordinator. I start training for a week next Monday. I am excited and nervous about this job. It is one of those jobs I will either love or hate so I am just trying to go in with an open mind.

I spent some time today reconnecting with an old friend. This was some one that thru my previous marriage I was very close to but I had to "give up" in the divorce. They live here in Austin so I meet with them today and spent the day at their house and we caught all up and it was good to have someone that knew me then and where I came from and where I am going.

Also my Bunny Hop Swap Buddy Sonya got her basket from me today. Mine came in to but I got home to late to get it from the office so I will share my goodies with you all tomorrow!
